Concerro Solutions: Excellence in Staffing

A commitment to Excellence in Staffing is at the core of everything that Concerro does. This commitment requires Concerro to reach beyond good and bring outstanding, even extraordinary contributions and innovation to the world of healthcare staffing. Our recent investments towards this lofty goal include the work on Excellence in Staffing as well as establishing a relationship with the Global Nursing Network (GNN), a nonprofit organization committed to innovation, and donating the work on excellence to GNN to form an Institute for Excellence in Staffing.

Defining Excellence 

To achieve excellence we must have a definition to measure against. Concerro initiated a collaborative effort with The American Nurse Credentialing Center (ANCC), the Honor Society of Nursing, Sigma Theta Tau International (STTI) to define Excellence in Staffing. A group of over 50 healthcare and nursing leaders from health service, policy, and research sectors gathered in March 2008 to consider the question of what is excellence in staffing? A synthesis of this work is represented in the paper Excellence and Evidence in Staffing; Essential Links to Staffing Strategies, Design and Solutions for Healthcare.
