Why Did Concerro purchase Res-Q?
“As the only management system that enhances employees’ quality of life along with operations’ bottom line, we at Concerro are continually seeking best-of-breed elements on which to build our brand. Partnering with the leading staff scheduling vendor in the industry made perfect sense. RES-Q’s award-winning labor management and scheduling applications are the only solutions that align completely with Concerro’s strategy to help healthcare organizations control labor costs through workforce optimization rather than reduction,” said Graham Barnes, CEO of Concerro. “ Our management systems improve both quality of life and the bottom line across an installed base of more than 500 hospital facilities. This acquisition reinforces Concerro’s commitment to delivering the most cost-effective and innovative solutions for healthcare in these economically challenging times.”

Why did RES-Q merge with Concerro?
“As President of RES-Q I have witnessed, and been part of, plenty of changes over the past 30 years.”, states Mike Meisel, CEO of RES-Q. “One thing that has not changed is RES-Q’s mission. We have kept our focus on advancing staffing and scheduling software for hospitals. We have kept our commitment to provide top-notch service and support. That is why RES-Q has been ranked #1 by KLAS. I have thought long and hard about how to sustain RES-Q’s focus and uphold our commitment to our clients going forward. I want clients to continue to rely on RES-Q today, tomorrow and over the years ahead. I have taken pride in leading RES-Q as a privately held, independent company with zero debt. Now, I know the time has come for RES-Q to join forces with another organization that shares our passion for perfecting staffing and scheduling solutions. Like RES-Q, Concerro’s executives and staff have years of front-line experience in healthcare and in developing, implementing and supporting resource management systems for hospitals. Like RES-Q, Concerro has deep domain expertise in staffing and scheduling. Like RES-Q, Concerro is committed to enhancing the quality of care for patients, improving the quality of life for nurses and other hospital employees, and boosting hospitals’ operating margins. RES-Q and Concerro are truly a blend of the best our industry has to offer. There is no organization better suited to take RES-Q’s passion for developing quality software and unparalleled service into the next decade.”
