    Concerro is looking for a creative, hard-working individual to join its San Diego team as Director of Marketing. 

    This position reports to the VP Product Management & Marketing. The marketing team is comprised of the VP, this Director position, an Online Marketing Manager, and a Marketing Coordinator. We also have a Director of Product Management and 2 Product Managers on board. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to work with an exciting product in a growing market.

    The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:

    • Establish and oversee department budget based on the Company’s priorities and sales goals;
    • Supervise the Marketing Coordinator and manage the day-to-day affairs of the Marketing team;
    • Plan, execute, and evaluate e-mail, direct-mail, and webinar strategy to maximize lead generation in the most cost effective manner (utilizing Verticle Response tool for Salesforce.com);
    • Manage PR vendor relationship, facilitating article and media placement, monthly press releases, and speaking slots;
    • Manage creation of collateral, slide decks and graphic copy for all product lines;
    • Manage sales-related special projects, including the management of all marketing databases and mailing lists;
    • Perform ongoing lead analysis via Salesforce.com;
    • Supervise Search Engine Optimization / Web Analytics – monitor and adjust ongoing AdWords, Keywords, Ads (both organic and paid search), proper inbound links and monitor website analytics;
    • Assist Sales team in all ongoing needs, e.g. documents, PowerPoint documents, collateral, etc.;
    • Create ongoing copy and content for www.concerro.com website; and
    • Provide appropriate information to Concerro partners e.g. VHA, KHA, GHA, etc.

    Expectations & Results:

    • Concerro will have a widespread market presence that generates significant leads for the Sales team;
    • The Concerro Marketing team will be responsive to the needs of the Sales team and will establish appropriate sales-ready messaging and marketing materials in support of our various product lines; and
    • The Concerro Marketing team will be efficiently managed with an emphasis on cost-effective, results-oriented activities in line with quarterly goals.  

    Skills and Experience:

    • Strong interpersonal, verbal communication and writing skills;
    • 7+ years of progressing marketing experience, including experience around lead generation, Web development, branding, messaging, events and PR management; and
    • Prior experience in the healthcare, preferably acute care hospital software and services.

    Other Position Requirements:

    • College degree;
    • Must be a detail-oriented, critical thinker with the ability to research, support, defend, and sell recommendations;
    • Team player: ability to work collaboratively to create trust, manage conflict, and obtain results and support for recommendations;
    • Must live in San Diego area;
    • Ability and willingness to travel on occasion;
    • Able to work independently, multitask and negotiate changing priorities;
    • Willingness to work flexible hours when necessary;
    • Ability to sit for extended periods of time and ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
