Technical Specialist

Responsibilities

The Technical Specialist will have the following role:
  • Work with clients and Concerro support staff in configuring and troubleshooting technical aspects of Concerro products and 3rd party interfaces.
  • Have close interaction with clients, developers, service representatives and management, and be able to exhibit courtesy, discretion and professionalism.
  • Involvement in the development, documentation, testing and implementation of interface and technical projects and product upgrades.
  • The successful candidate will also be required to quickly come up to speed with the company's product and services.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate to join our team will have:
  • A minimum of 2 years experience in a professional support related position
  • Strong organization and task management skills with attention to detail
  • Expertise in working with Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to be work in a command line UNIX/Linux environment
  • Working knowledge of SQL
  • Thorough understanding of various past and current Internet browsers
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, XML/XSL and JavaScript
  • Graphics skills working with Photoshop and Flash a plus
  • Basic Networking knowledge
  • Although not required, experience in the administration of Red Hat Linux, MySQL, Apache, and/or JBoss
A bachelor's degree in a technical field preferred, but we will consider candidates who can demonstrate exceptional skill and/or experience in this area.

Position Details

  • Full time, permanent position
  • Daily tasks will include taking calls and emails from clients and support staff, and investigating, tracking, resolving and reporting issues.
  • Other responsibilities entail assisting with testing and implementing new features for the product.
  • The position of Technical Specialist reports to the VP of Engineering and is open in San Diego
