Responsibilities

This is a full time, permanent position. Responsibilities include:

  • Design and implementation of new features for the product.
  • Software maintenance
  • Architecture and process improvement
  • Technical documentation.
  • The position of Java Programmer reports to the VP of Software Development and is open in San Diego

Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate to join our team will have:

  • A minimum of 2 years professional experience of Java programming.
  • Experience developing on at least one major application server (we use Resin)
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and JDBC.
  • Experience with JSP & XML.
  • The ability to be productive in a UNIX/Linux environment.
  • Experience producing technical documentation.
  • 5 years of professional programming experience
  • Experience with Struts and Ant a plus.
A bachelor's degree in computer science is strongly preferred, but we will consider candidates who can demonstrate exceptional skill and/or experience in the field.
